At the foot of Mount Paiko, in the area of Goumenissa, surrounded by centuries-old oaks, is the Titos small estate. There, next to the river Sirios, in 1972 Titos Eftychidis planted a 40-acre vineyard, with Xinomavro, Negoska, Cabernet Sauvignon, Limnio and Viognier varieties.
Vangelis Gerovasiliou’s long friendship with Tito leads his wife, Angeliki Eftychidis, to transfer the Estate to the hands she trusted the most. So in 2018, Vangelis Gerovasileiou and Vassilis Tsaktsarlis from the Viblia Chora Estate, arrive in Goumenissa with the aim of creating, with love and respect, high quality red wines, PDO Goumenissa.
In 2022, the renovation of the original building was completed, based on traditional local architecture and earthy colors and materials, a tasteful and welcoming winery was created that perfectly harmonizes with the natural environment. It consists of a fully equipped winemaking area, the traditional maturing cellar, a specially designed aging room as well as tasting and guest reception areas.
Guided tours and tastings in the specially designed areas of the estate are available by appointment from Monday to Friday (09:00-15:00).
